If Napoleon had entrusted Davout with command in dealing with the Spanish Ulcer problem, how much of a difference would it likely have made? I don't know the period well enough, so asking people here who might.

Note: After getting beaten badly in debate after debate, I've decided to stay out of the Science, Logic, and Morality and News and Politics forums alltogether for a minimum of six months.
