Economical Analysis: Spain (homework ;) )

Post by Skgoa »

In my International Business Management class, my group has to prepare a presentation of a PESTLE analysis. We decided to be Toyota trying to get into the spanish car market. I have taken on the Economic section.

Well, uhm... I have found this website: http://www.businessballs.com/pestanalys ... mplate.htm So I believe I know what I'm supposed to do... but can any of you business people give any hints about how it's done in the real world?

And as sources for data I have found:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy_of_Spain
https://www.cia.gov/library/publication ... os/sp.html
http://www.nationmaster.com/country/sp- ... co-economy
http://www.oecd-ilibrary.org/economics/ ... -table-esp
http://www.economy.com/dismal/outlook/c ... x?geo=IESP
http://www.politicalcompass.org/test
Economic Left/Right: -7.12
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -7.74

This is pre-WWII. You can sort of tell from the sketch style, from thee way it refers to Japan (Japan in the 1950s was still rebuilding from WWII), the spelling of Tokyo, lots of details. Nothing obvious... except that the upper right hand corner of the page reads "November 1931." --- Simon_Jester
