I wonder if, somewhere in the millenium-plus-deep history of Commune space exploration, there is room for Ijon Tichy to have lived.

I have fond memories of him, though I really need to reread that stuff now that I'm old enough to get all the jokes.

Either Rogue is trying really really well to fool the MEH, not that that seems hard what with them being a bunch of fat bastards and their enema-bots, or he's just backstabbed everyone else who hates the MEH. I vote fool.

One of the less developed nations now has a plot-chance to get some boons from the Commune. Or, more specifically, from Prometheus, the Commune's most wanted rogue CI. Of course, unpredictable political in-game consequences might follow, so you can PM me for details. Whoever's willing to play together is welcome.

If there's no one willing, Prometheus will head off to the communist rebels Shroom described. And the blessings of Commune's production and military technology shall be shared with them, not with a player faction.

Ha! A long time ago, I suggested to Shroom that maybe his communistas should have some help from the Commune, and now the do! Glory to the Revolution!

Well, the Commune wouldn't be the only one, but they might take the business of supporting the communistas more seriously than the people currently responsible for it.
