That might actually work for the Shroomanians.
With lawyers running in as accusations of rape run high....

"In the Shroomanian military, BOHICA is no joke. It's policy."

I am sure posting images of the children of those exposed to Orange defoliant Agents would still constitute a war crime, though. :P

Man, RogueIce, you are AWESOME! The notion of bored Mushroom Marines playing pranks by getting naked and filling AFVs and APCs up with their naked, writhing, oiled-up bodies is awesome! Like, just to PISS the Byzantines off in joint-CATO exercises!

Especially if it is in the hot and miserable Byzantine deserts, with angry loud-mouthed pompous Byzantine commanders watching! The Shrooms will just LOVE to get naked then and there!

I guess this is why subsequent CATO exercises will be done in SIBERIA. The sub-zero cold with make even Shroomanians think twice about getting naked and getting their dicks frostbitten off.

Maybe Shroomanians will also have an unexplained pathological fear of bears.

:D

"You know COmrade, let's have our annual exercises in Siberia. At least those darn Shroomanians won't go frolicking around in the snow, unlike in the Desert where we had to chase them down to prevent them from dehydrating and getting heat strokes and thinking that camel could be used for...."

Man, if you've seen Jarhead, yeah. The Byzantines would've so totally tried to make the Shroomanians play football in NBC gear.

It's not really unreasonable to be scared of a 500 kilogram sack of muscle with huge teeth.

...especially when it's grumpy. Protip: all bears are grumpy if woken up during the winter.

I can imagine this scene:

A unit of Byzantine soldiers is marching through the desert, when a platoon of Shroomanians, crammed in groups of 12 in APCs, roll up next to them. The Shroomanians offer the tired, hot and weary Byzantine soldiers a ride. However, in what is probably the first recorded instance in all of military history, the Byzantines declare: "No thanks. We'd rather walk."

Seriously, the idea of muscular half-naked (or ALL-NAKED!) Shroomanians coming out of an APC like clowns coming out of a tiny car is just awesome! Thanks for the mental image, RogueIce

CATO military exercises are awesome.

Speaking of which, the Sovereign Shroomanian Navy doesn't have Navy SEALs. We have Beachhead Excursionary Aggressive Reconnaissance Specialist forces instead. Navy BEARS.

BEARS in more ways than one I presume? God I am glad that I am not trapped in our RP world. Just some things in it; you'd never forget.

Ah. Alright, so crew of 3, carries 8 passengers, 12 if they're light on gear (as in, rifles and ammunition only, I figure.)
12 if they're light on gear... and laying on top of each other.
Well, whatever works. :P

Edit: Actually now that I've thought on it a bit, I don't think Yorkshire is quite that big. The O'Reilly's certainly might want that much territory but they don't have the means to occupy it or the historical claim to it that would really be necessary.

Maybe Mortimer's claim should go a bit further east?
Righty-o, I can do that. Here's take two:

I've tried to make the borders follow natural boundaries like rivers or what presumably are the beginnings of hillsides or highlands. Also added the former capital, a bunch of rivers and lakes, and enlarged the Claim. Yorkshire is now slightly smaller, and I imagine the deep south of the CFR is actually controlled by Klavostani mercenaries rather than the O'Reilly's. Winter Army territory is quite sizeable, but a lot of that is just rugged mountains where no-one lives. Most of the population is down on the lowlands near Kircaldy and in the west, though of course the mountains and the aptitude for high-altitude fighting among the Winter Army make it pretty difficult to mount a succesful ground campaign through Fimbulwinter.

Very nice Seigetank. I think you are right about the far south being occupied by Klavostan as well. As far as I know they have no rightful claim, but that hasn't stopped them yet.

IIRC that bit of the CFR actually used to be Klavostani before an indeterminate war fought between Klavostan and Westchester in the 1950s. It was given to the CFR as a neutral buffer between the two.

I suppose the Klavostani mercs consider it theirs again, though.
