That's actually one of the reasons I don't really advocate automatically shoving everyones' banning thread into HoS. This way, people anywhere can be linked to the thread where they got banned and see for themselves how they behaved, rather than believing their bullshit claims of how they were winning the argument until they were kicked out for "embarrassing" everyone else with their l33t debating skillz.

Suggestion: to create a special forum with the banning threads that can be viewed by all and sundry (along with any HoSed threads linked there).

Is there a statistic if any (and if so, how many) of the banned tried sneaking back in under new names?

*checks the chronicle forum* there've been a number of numbnuts that decided to sneak back in, but it doesn't seem to happen with that much regularity. i can probably count the amount of people that've done so within the last year on one hand.

Don't the banned usually get a "BANNED" thing underneath their names in place of their titles? How come Desco still has his "Padawan Learner"? Temp ban?

For some reason, I'm now imagining a ban pic with close-up of a Quintesson and a caption that says "Innocent!"

If I remember correctly, Rev Prez pulled it off, and we actually kept him around for a little while.

Well so much for our nice auto-turbolaser turrets and hundred-meter quadanium-steel armorplate. These trolls nowadays would only need a few old Maxim MGs in sandbag nests

From my experience, it was done in the morning before classes started. I'm not sure if other school districts had different policies, but I'm pretty certain once daily was the requirement for recitation.

For the one year I spent in American high school (Maryland, actually), that was also the case in my experience.
