Should we ban Revprez?

OK, everyone's sick of Revprez and his conduct recently has become steadily more trollish, particularly with his unrepentant hijacking of Setzer's personal thread. So should we ban him?

Just look at his latest statement, found here:

As proof, he cited Stalin and all communist nations, as if their atrocities were motivated by atheism rather than communism. Perhaps he will show up now to post how he can:

Show how a lack of belief can motivate someone to do anything.
Explain why he assumes that when a communist does something bad, it must have been motivated by his atheism rather than some kind of active ideology such as communism.

And of course, he will do so in such a manner that does not really explain it, but generates excuses for him to insult everyone who doesn't believe that it is so.

Have you had enough of him? Does he contribute anything remotely useful to this board? Even most fundies are at least amusing.

In most of my exchanges with him he doggedly dodges the issue at hand, trying to force me into a corner defending bullshit created by him. While aggravating, I don't consider it a heinous slight. However, judging by his debates with other members of the board I have a hard time describing his behavior as anything but trollish. His most recent arguments are especially bad, and he's become a lot more openly hostile.

Ban him.

His novelty has worn off. We certainly wouldn't lose anything whose loss we'd lament, but as I recall, the only time we've banned someone for being thick-headed was Scooter. Has he approached those levels?

We banned Darkstar because he was a hatfucker and goaded Wong into doing so.

My understanding was he was tolerated until then.

Mind you, one of the reasons he was banned was because people were fed up with the way he was basically acting as a thread toxin. The minute he marched into a thread, you just knew that the thread would go to hell and end up going round and round in circles over increasingly irrelevant bullshit. When people saw that Darkstar was participating in a thread, they would avoid it because they knew that nothing worthwhile would be happening there.

And I suspect that people are feeling exactly the same way about Revprez. We're talking about someone who, when challenged to give evidence, retorts that nobody's perfectly free of subjectivity, so he doesn't have to. Any thread he participates in is virtually guaranteed to go to shit, and I am convinced people are behaving just as they did with Darkstar; they are avoiding threads in which he participates because they're ultimately all the same. He finds a way to turn every SLAM thread into the same merry-go-round. You can literally take his points and rebuttals from one SLAM thread, stick them in another SLAM thread on a totally different subject, and they don't even look out of place.

Please ban him. His crap is bad enough, but I don't think I can stand any more of his patronizing attitude, especially how he calls everyone "son" including people a good deal older than him. I think he even called me "boy" once.

Please ban him. This guy's been hampering the enjoyability of this board for a few weeks now. It seems to me that the only forum in which he isn't a total jackass is PSW.
If a guy has 300-something posts, and 98% of them are cataclysmically retarded and mind-bogglingly aggravating to read, banning him is a safe bet.

I know I haven't had any exchanges with this guy, but that's because I come here more to read than to post. Revprez has annoyed me as much as anybody, and I give him the thumbs-down. Ban his ass.

I think the closest you'll get is my post. But that's just a result of exactly what you said: me avoiding threads with him in them because I know they won't go anywhere, so I don't keep track of his more recent escapades. After your response, I'm going to vote for a ban. I thought he could be turned into an otherwise constructive member, but I guess I was wrong.
