Wow, I wonder how your forum can get any visitors at all.
I don't. It's not my forum, given all I do is adminstration and moderation. That particular above is my personal opinion and comment upon you and your topic here.

My moving of this topic is because you didn't even try at discussion, but instead came to some conclusions and then backtracked with selective evidence and personal conjecture. It would've made no difference to me what universe you pulled this particular shit on.

If you want to keep going down this road, fine. You get to see the other forum we have for special people like yourself.

It's a damn shame too, a serious discussion on engineering practices and philosophies in SW could have been very interesting.

I wonder if all SW fans are such totally rude and offensive people, or just those who don't know anything about engineering and couldn't care less. Which is a pity because the author of the 'Star Trek and Engineering' page is actually an engineering graduate and knows what he's writing. I enjoyed that article, and it would have been nice to see comparisons to SW ( or other sci fi universes ). One thing is clear though, most members and even moderators have no understanding of politeness.

Are you asking to get banned?

That's Debating Rule 7. Look it up. You have only posted stupid shit here that has been refuted and you keep whining about how you are right. That's a good way of getting in everyone's bad graces quickly. The proportion of flames increases with every repetition of your argument when you refuse to address points. Whining about politeness at the same time is almost asking to get banned.

I don't know, but you are an idiot. But crass generalizations are certainly your particular brand of debate.
or just those who don't know anything about engineering and couldn't care less.
Given your complete lack of understanding how engineering works and your gross generalization of the term, you are not one to comment.

It's a tad astounding that a few others have done so, with varying degrees of success. The problem is the amount of time and effort to put into said subject. What you did wasn't even a miniscule portion of what was needed.

If refering to me, given Edi came after this post? I do. I'm just not being polite to an idiot who thinks personal opinion on objective material is being intelligent.

So just say when you want to excise yourself of this board, I'll be glad to accomadate your particular demand.

Oh, I was right. Not only are the mods rude and offensive, but also stupid. This is what the previous moderator had posted:
Ah useless posturing and yabbering by the new trekkie retard.
Which was in no way a debate or an argument, but just his personal opinion, and he stated so. Apparently I have broken the Debating rule 7, to dismiss an argument because of profanity. Or, you know, not. Because he wasn't making an argument or a debate.

By the way if that is really board policy, then all debates would be stupid, rude fishmarkets. Such a thing is not possible in real life, as it would be impossible to conduct such a debate.
Given your complete lack of understanding how engineering works and your gross generalization of the term, you are not one to comment.
It would be funny if it weren't sad. I happen to be an engineering graduate and work in a technical field, and have actually written tech papers. Internet boards like this are supposed to be relaxing and encouraging, if I were to write everything as carefully as it were to be published in a peer reviewed journal, I wouldn't bother to write anything at all. I'm guessing most of this board are people who don't have any technical experience, but like to pretend they know all.

So long suckers.

Off we go to Parting Shots.

And again another one rants at the end. Though his claim of engineering is a fun one. Read through his few posts and this topic and see a discerning lack of education and logic. He may very well be a graduate but he certainly is demonstrating he wasn't nearly in any upper level of his class or his university simply sucked.

What the fuck kind of engineering graduate doesn't understand that a structure's performance prior to completion is not a valid assessment of its engineering? I'd love to know where this retard's alma mater was. I'm guessing it was the University of Internet Bluffing.

PS. It would have been nice if he stuck around and tried to actually defend this stupidity instead of saying "I'm out of here, you people are impolite" when challenged. It could have been amusing :)

PPS. I checked his IP and it's from India. I guess he's the guy you talk to when you call Dell Tech Support.
