The Star Trek Maquis terrorists could defeat the Star Wars Rebellion against the Empire any day. The Rebels were nothing more than terrorists anyway. They had no defined territory, no representation or recognition in the Senate, and operated in secrecy from planet to planet (e.g., Dantooine, Alderan, Hoth, etc.).
Thomas Riker could kick Luke Skywalker's ass. Riker survived on his own for years on a barren planet. Luke couldn't last five minutes on his home planet before getting his ass kicked by the Sand People. This is why the Maquis would defeat the Rebels, they were simply more resourceful.

I don't know anything at all about Riker, but Skywalker was little more than an average kid that day in the desert. He was overcome by a martial enemy with superior weapons and numbers. Luke as a Jedi would mop the floor with them, or any Trek powers that you threw at him.
As far as resourcefulness goes, please show proof that the Maquis are more resourceful. If you can, I will find proof that the Rebels are just as, if not more, resourceful than the Maquis.
