Exactly. I made a post about 5 minutes after this was moved to the "hall of shame" that I believe was deleted by the asshole who originally locked the thread. I know for a fact that mods can see it but not us normal people. I don't mind arguing with anybody but I mind being censured by the mods.

No, I didn't. Athlethes who cash in when they can still run the risk of crippling injuries and many who do so don't make enough money to cover living expenses and the surgeries they invariably need to repair the damage to their bodies.

For fuck's sake, I only played ball in high school and my knees are shot to shit and will probably require surgery, if not outright replacement, at some point down the line. Probably in my 40's or 50's.

That's a pretty weak argument. I played HS football and a year of college. and in HS I weighed 300lbs and in college 320-30lbs, and my knees are perfect. For every horror story you hear about from people that played football, there are just as many guys who are just "sore in the mornings" or are fine.

I'm not meaning to imply that everyone who plays is going to be crippled, but my point, clumsy as it was, is that the longer you play the worse you're going to be and rarely, IMHO, are the monetary gains worth the crippling problems that often go with a career in football.

What the fuck are you on about? I've never deleted one of your posts and the only ones I've replied to were the ones on the first page. The thread was locked in the N&P forum long enough for this tangent to get split here, after it was reopened and this one was also left open. If one of your posts went missing because you accidentally hit "preview" instead of "submit" or your connection to the board craped out due to the hit from one of the AMP threads being inundated by visitors from Slashdot and Digg, none of that is a problem of the moderators. Nobody has been seeing any posts of yours anywhere else.

You know, the thing to do when you suspect foul play by a moderator is to PM some other moderator or one of the admins instead of starting to bleat about conspiracies of the mods being out to get you and screwing around behind your back abusing their powers. If the mods really do want to go for you, they will do so in full public view without pulling any punches, by ridiculing you and mutilating your posts with multicolored ADDITIONS inserted into your posts in the Hall of Shame. We are not permitted to delete things or cover our own tracks. Mods who have done that in the past have been summarily stripped of their powers.

Also, false accusations of abuse of power by mods are grounds for an instant permban, so you're on very thin ice here, as Darth Wong pointed out in the other thread.

Why the fuck would this imbecile accuse us of abusing our power by deleting just one of his posts? Does it not occur to him that if we were actually abusing our power and deleting his posts, we could simply delete the post where he complains about it? What an idiot. Do you know the difference between "infallible" and "honest"? Have you ever owned a dictionary?

If the guy honestly thought he was being fucked with, and for some reason discounted the possibility of error on his part or a technical problem, he should have followed the rules and complained to another mod via PM. Immediately leaping to the conclusion that he was being censored (as if we would single out one post which was probably no different from his other posts, and leave every other post alone, including his accusations) and then publicly accusing mods of abuse of power is generally the act of either an imbecile or a troll.
