WH40K: Space Marine articles

Post by 2000AD »

While looking around the main site of GW for wall papers for a different thread i came across several articles that GW has made available online and thought that links might be useful:

How to turn a man into a Marine
Average day for a marine
21st founding: The cursed founding

Interesting note: Space Marines have been observed to go 328 hours (13 and a bit days) without sleep and be considered combat effective for that period.

Nice. I'd recommend adding these to the sticky of info on different series.
It's a strange world. Let's keep it that way.

You dare not link to the most excellent battle damage article? :P

Space Marine chapter gallery.

I'm pretty sure that most WH40kites have already seen these articles.

Edit: I hate that GW nerfed the IG section. :?

I note that the chapter gallery is grossly incomplete. It doesn't even have all the First Founding chapters. Where are the Ultramarines? :P
It's Rogue, not Rouge!

What I really miss is the Reference Sheet for Space Marines.

Didn't the Rynn's World incodent result in almost the whole Crimson Fist Chapter being obliterated in one go?
What is Project Zohar?

Here's to a certain mostly harmless nutcase.

IIRC, yes. They recovered from that though. The Crimson Fists have also wiped out two other chapters at the behest of the High Lords of Terra and are considered somewhat suspect by many chapters as a result.
The Excellent Prismatic Spray. For when you absolutely, positively must kill a motherfucker. Accept no substitutions. Contact a magician of the later Aeons for details. Some conditions may apply.

No, the Crimson Fists survived Rynn's world, albeit barely.
