Doctor Who S36E2 "Smile" [Spoilers]

Post by Crazedwraith »

I've not watched anything after The Last Christmas (and that one only because it was put on netflix) But those who have can be treated with a new thread.

Commence praise and/or bitching.

3/5 for me - fairly run of the mill episode with some interesting concepts.

I don't know, didn't really set me off jizzing for joy like it apparently did for others.
Yeah, I've always taken the subtext of the Birther movement to be, "The rules don't count here! This is different! HE'S BLACK! BLACK, I SAY! ARE YOU ALL BLIND!?

Destiny and fate are for those too weak to forge their own futures. Where we are 'supposed' to be is irrelevent.

The vardy felt lazy - considering they could have just buried all the characters. Becuase they were holding themselves back, it didn't feel like a real threat.

but the concept was great and the arctiecture fantastic. I want to go visit when possible:

It wasn't a bad episode but it also certainly wasn't spectacular.
Bill is coming across as capable and nowhere near as annoying as feared.

They keep dropping hints about the vault and the Doctor's promise, so I guess that's definitely this seasons little arc.

The vault seems to have Gallifreyan writing on it?
