Well Weber has a new book in the Manticore universe however it is not honor Harrington based. Instead it is set almost 350 years or hundred years before the Basilisk incident. Takes place before the Wormhole is discovered and only a few years after Treecats are discovered. At the start of the Book Manticore they have a whopping 3 freighters. Their military consists of 8 frigates and 6 destroyers with a couple of Battle Cruisers in mothballs.
So we get to see a very young Manticore
