New Batman Begins Batmobile Pics
Official Pictures
What do you guys think? I like it, and I think it's a big improvement over the ridiculous Batmobile in the last two Schumacher films. I'm not feeling the front though, with the tops of the tires showing.

When did Batman become a 'soccer mom'?
I don't like it (yet), bring back the batmobile from bats 1 and 2 ... although it might grow on me.

Come on. The Batmobiles from Batman 1 and BTAS were both awesome, but this is just lame adolescent penis-envy shit.

The one in B1 & B2 was great, the neon contraptions in the later films were ridicilous. This one looks like something you would use to invade a minor country with.

When did the Bat Mobile become a bloody tank?!

Supernatural Taisen - "[This Story] is essentially "Wouldn't it be awesome if this happened?" Followed by explosions."

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!
Batman does NOT need a HUMVEE-RipOff!
This does not bold well for the Movie, IMHO.

Nitram: You -are- beautiful. Anyone tries to tell you otherwise kill them.

They might be going with this design because of the whole "Year One" motiff. The tank from Dark Knight Returns was classic because it was seemingly out of character with that Batman that we knew. It was huge, blatant, and devastatingly offensively oriented. Bruce Wayne is new at crime fighting, just having donned the cape and cowl. Since intimidation is one of Batman's greatest weapons, this could be a first-time attempt at transfering his personal intimidation to vehicle form. Of course later, when hes had more experience doing what he does, he slides over to the sleeker jack of all trades Batmobile. But for now, this is how he sees his ride.
Similar to how in "The Professional/Leon" how the more experienced you get, the less firepower you need and the more stealth you use.

they should go with the earlier designs presented by the comics. this is just far too much mutilation of the concept to be suited to a batman that's brand new to the job.

And this new vehicle is bloody horrible.
Why not have the original one from the first two films? Gah, even the second and third version were better than this.
But Batman wont be scoring any chicks with this car so I was correct regardless. No girl would dig it.
HAHAHAHAHA.

Not that I find this widget especially offensive, but what's wrong with the black Porsche 928 he was driving in Batman: Year One? If this movie really is going back to the beginning of Batman's crime fighting career, would we really expect him to already have the big, customized Batmobile?

I don't like it because it defies the iconical Batmobile imagry.
I do like it because it invokes memories of "The Dark Knight Returns".
I think he would drive a speedier car, though, and not a riced-up Humvee.
