Thoroughly destroying a supernatural baddie

Post by Shrykull »

It's what I would do if one existed (not that it work probably, Jason was dissolved in toxic waste in 8- where does he first appear in the next one?) Take them and either burn them to ashes, or grind them up really really fine and dissolve it in acid etc, I would never leave a body, or even bones, lying around. Remember in Jason takes Mahattan he fell on the third rail in the subway and still got up?

Trying to kill them is futile. What you need is for the Ghostbusters to trap them in the containment unit (and don't let Walter Peck anywhere near it). We know from at least one episode of the cartoon that monsters with physical components (like the Stay-Puft marshmallow man) can be pulled into traps, so storing a supernatural entity with a physical body should be possible.

Seal it in a timeless demiplane so it can never reform.

The only true way to kill a supernatural villain is to stop going to see the fucking sequels, so they'll stop making them.

lol, what if someone got so sick of it he tried to kill Robert Englund or Kane Hodder to stop them from making movies. I read in an episode of nintendo power once where they interviewed Robert that he was going to stop making freddy movies and saw Freddy as a negative "role model" for kids. And that was in 88 or 89, before he made 3 more movies.

Do undead age? Or do thier bodies continue to decompose while they lie thier "life" Liches in D&D do until they become demi-liches, which are just skulls and a pile of dust. Freddy has always been the same however.

Have him watch Pearl Harbor. OR Titanic, Godzilla vs. Hedorah, Battlefield Earth, Titanic, ST V, an episode of recent Trek, MTV, the Omega Code, any random chick-flick, or Ralph Bakshi's LOTR. Any of them will make the watcher's head explode. You can then cremate the paralyzed body at leisure. :P

Until some idiot breaks the seal. Law of narrative causality.

Kill it normally, then cast Miracle.

If it keeps a Tarrasque dead, it should work for Vorhees.

Thankfully, Narrative Causality has little effect on the enemies of Netheril. They stay sealed up until the Neth are ready to deal with them(Phaerimm under the Anaurach).

Pfft if I can survive that...I would hope the average supernatural menace could, or they need to be made of sterner stuff.
