I was judt thinking according to the prophesy in OotP either harry must kill voldemort of voldemort must kill harry.

So if i walked up to harry snd shot a bullet between his eyes what would happen. Woulkd to be like in terry patchet's Dark side of the sun? and the gun would simply not fire?

In the context of the Potter-verse probably.

But it doesn't mean much in the context of a versus debate.

I think it means either the gun wouldn't fire or you simply wouldn't be going up and shooting him in the first place.

Or the bullet doesn't penetrate or something.
