Hobbit, LOTR question.

In the Hobbit, or maybe LOTR, do one of the eagles have a name, and if so what is it?

Gwaheir - the spelling could be really fucked but that is the gist of his name. The lord of the eagles.

In LOTR, the chief Eagle was Gwaihir the Windlord. Also named are his brother Landroval and a Meneldil or Meneldir or some similar name. They are presumably distant descendants of Thorondor, chief of Manwe's Eagles in the First Age.

Thorondor, King of Eagles.
Gwaihir Lord of the Wind, descendant of Thorondor.
Lhandroval Wide-wing, brother of Gwaihir.
Meneldor the Swift.

The only ones I can think of now. IIRC Thorondor wasn't mentioned in Hobbit or LotR, he's from Silmarillion

Found it on a Encylopedia of Middle earth, like Gwaihir the most, that is now the name of my peacock.
