SD.nets Ultimate SuperHero Team

Post by thecreech »

Ok here it goes... we are going to pick the Comic Book superhero team of SD.net and here are the Rules

Pick 7 superhero's that should be apart of this team. They have to primarly reside on earth. No Cosmic Gods or beings. You can only choose from these comics:MARVEL, DC, IMAGE, TOP COW, WILDSTORMS. If you go over 7 hero's only the first 7 will be choosen. They all have to be Hero's... No villians. Voting will end on friday at 9pm

Green Lanturn- He's got a lot of power, and his shields make him a good team player.

Punisher-He's just that awesome

Rogue-Powerful and hot

Mr. Fantastic-He's got a lot of scientific and technical knowledge

Jean Gray(or is it Grey?)-A strong telepath

Martian Manhunter-Good for infiltrating

Iron Man-He's got money and technical knowledge

Yeah, this would make a pretty good team, especially after Mr. Fantastic and Iron Man get together and reequip the team with uber-gear

Wouldn't that be Dark Horse? I don't think it's one of the companies allowed.

What are we building this team for?

...it's just that I'm worried it's for a 'versus' scenario and those tend to end up with me being spattered all over the landscape all too often :(

Oh all right

-Superman
-Moi, provided it's either something safe or I'm staying behind to carry the burden of responsibility or something
-Green Lantern (Kyle Rainer)
-Spider-Man. Even if he sits whatever happens out and just does the commentary he's worth it
-Iron Man, because I love power armor, and he can double as techno-geek if the need arises
-Dr Strange to cover all things arcane
-Thor, because divine intervention is nothing to be sneezed at

Why 7, exactly?
'Next time I let Superman take charge, just hit me. Real hard.'
'You're a princess from a society of immortal warriors. I'm a rich kid with issues. Lots of issues.'
'No. No dating for the Batman. It might cut into your brooding time.'
'Tactically we have multiple objectives. So we need to split into teams.'-'Dibs on the Amazon!'
'Hey, we both have a Martian's phone number on our speed dial. I think I deserve the benefit of the doubt.'
'You know, for a guy with like 50 different kinds of vision, you sure are blind.'

Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles."
