This is a surprisingly good animated show on Netflix that took an old action figure pushing IP, gave it to some solid writers and put some heart and soul into it. Frankly if this is the standard of writing kids can expect today in their cartoons the 6-12s are darn lucky.

Kids shows are generally well written these days see Steven Universe, Adventure Time, even Big Mouth though it's more adult.

I'll also chime in "this is good stuff." There's a lot of solid character work with Adora and Catra. I really look forward to season 2!

I got old enough to see She Ra remade.
