Mad Max: Fury Road - Trailer

Possibly not the correct forum, but seems to fit. Now-

A confusing mess of a trailer for a movie that apparently wants to cash in on the popularity of the 'Mad Max' franchise, perhaps?
'Next time I let Superman take charge, just hit me. Real hard.'
'You're a princess from a society of immortal warriors. I'm a rich kid with issues. Lots of issues.'
'No. No dating for the Batman. It might cut into your brooding time.'
'Tactically we have multiple objectives. So we need to split into teams.'-'Dibs on the Amazon!'
'Hey, we both have a Martian's phone number on our speed dial. I think I deserve the benefit of the doubt.'
'You know, for a guy with like 50 different kinds of vision, you sure are blind.'

That looks awesome.

2015 looks to be a good year.

I'm planning on going and seeing it. I believe there is an accompanying game.

I've always liked the idea of a Mad Max movie, but the execution fell flat at some point. I can't remember how the first one ends, but both the second and third finished on an unsatisfying note.

Indeed. This will be one of the few I'll actually pay to see at the cinema. It looks amazing.

I'm excited for it. To be honest, I doubt it's going to be very good, but will probably still be massively entertaining in a sort of good-bad way, enhanced by having sweet special effects. I think the best parallel is the recent "Evil Dead" remake; both original series (Evil Dead and Mad Max, that is) are cult classics that really aren't all that good, but the fact that they aren't that good is part of the fun of watching them. It isn't quite ironic, I legitimately enjoy watching all of them, but there's a certain degree of self-consciousness to it. The "Evil Dead" remake was fine; it wasn't particularly good all-around, but managed to be enjoyable in no small part due to having good special effects. I think "Mad Max" will be similar; though it might get a bump simply by virtue of having big-name actors in it.

That was the best trailer I've seen in years.

It loos like it should be a fun movie. The stunt work looks like it might be worth the price of admission at any rate.

Holy shit, this looks great.
"A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky, dangerous animals and you know it. Fifteen hundred years ago everybody knew the Earth was the center of the universe. Five hundred years ago, everybody knew the Earth was flat, and fifteen minutes ago, you knew that humans were alone on this planet. Imagine what you'll know...tomorrow."
