First name suggested is of course Count Durkula but I love how the word bubbles are arranged to indicate they are all chiming in names and it looks like one of two people suggested Greg.

Yay! The Paladins are still in this comic! I still think one/both of them would make an excellent Durkon replacement for the Order.

Absolutely.

I like the way Burlew presents... basically all paladins who aren't Miko. They're all very dedicated, committed people with very firm ideas about what is to be done... But they're not stupid or humorless or asinine.

Making it clear that "obnoxious Lawful Stupid" is a problem with one particular paladin (who was raised in an odd environment), not with paladins as a whole.

I'm just going to +1 this because it's exactly what I wanted to comment, but better worded because you're presumably not hacking up a lung.

Though could someone remind me why they're out where they are? I've straight-up forgotten.

They're looking for Kraagor's Gate. They left to do that at the same time the Order went to the Western Continent to seek Girard's Gate.

These two continue to be fun. I hope they continue to be so considering the last panel.

Lien's optimism reminds me of the crew from TSOLAR sometimes.

I'm betting that this is the gate's guardian. And since no gate guards are supposed to interact with each other, this will be violent.

Kraagor's Gate is supposed to be guarded by many many ferocious creatures 'reflecting his belief in physical might'.

Elemental Protection spells generally don't care if your in a -20C raging blizzard or at the bottom of the ocean in -5C Water either your protected or not.

I have to wonder if they were trading the Ring of Water-breathing back and forth for a while. It was a very ingenious plan, one that most players of Paladins would never have thought of doing. After all, most players of paladins think running from combat is failing their God.

Lien's ring explicitly grants both water breathing and protection from the cold. See comic #1031.

Bad Paladins, depending on system all Gods can have Paladins and while fleeing from an undead horde and letting poor grandma fall behind is very non-Paladin. But if your a Paladin of a god of Commerce then dying horribly to save a village might not be in the ideal service to your god. They might have different ideas about what would be best in that situation.

On the flip side a god of war might not like you taking on fights you can't win. A child acolyte challenging a grown warrior is an insult to his god because he can't win.

Oona is certainly a leader of this set of goblins, as we see she's got the biggest horns on her mask. I really can't dislike anyone who cares for her mount, is greeted by and hugs her doggie (worg?) before she goes inside. She might be working with RedCloak, but she's a good person at heart.
