I'm glad that even though Johns is having to drop Aquaman due to his schedule, he's still giving us a grand finale -- albeit transplanted into Justice League.
But Johns is justified to finish his story with Arthur's superfriends in tow. The Atlantean Army alone caused massive damage and death during the Throne of Atlantis crossover. If Orm and Nereus rally the remaining undersea kingdoms to their banner, then it's bad and impacts the world at large.
The concept of the Seven Seas is great backstory and has the potential to be the Aquaman equivalent of GL's emotional spectrum.
