Game of Thrones Season 4 news (spoilers galore)

I heard an interesting theory that story line in Mereen will be a lot more entertaining than it was in the book. I think the thing that most drew people into the show was the political dealing and backstabbing, and season one showed that the show writers can do that very well, including when they're making up entire scenes on their own like the one where Varys and Littlefinger are verbally sparring with each other. Mereen is a political powder keg, and the show won't be tied to Dany/Quentyn's POV. Perfect fodder for them to let their imaginations run wild.

And I expect they'll do everything they can to stretch things out without hurting the quality enough to lose viewers. I doubt anyone wants the show to pass up the books, and it's not like HBO wouldn't love to have an extra season or two to keep the money flowing in.

Eh, it's complicated. Cersei and Jaime kind of have a mutual falling out as Jaime starts to realize that Cersei was not exactly faithful during his captivity and is kind of in general a shitty person, and Cersei begins to find Jaime less suited to her current purposes, her yardstick of value in all other persons. Then the stuff at the end of Storm of Swords involving their Dad and the stuff in AFFC between her and Margaery happens and she tries to go running back, but he basically tells her to go fuck herself.

Yeah, Cersei may not have legitimate grounds to complain about Brienne, but that doesn't mean she won't complain and rage anyway. Cersei is definitely not a good person. Not as bad as Joffrey, but still not a good person.
