The Dark Knight Rises Trailer #3

Post by One Two »

I really liked the quiet tone of the first half of the trailer. But yeah, I'm psyched as hell for this.

Bane's voice sounds weird. And I don't mean it's muffled by the mask. Both at 0:34 and 1:03 but more noticeably for the latter, the way he emphasises different syllables is strange.

That film cannot come out soon enough.

That said, I hope that Catwoman's role is minimal.

Aye. Insert my usual gripe about stilettos. Still, rather stoked for it.

I wonder how much of the story of this film was plotted at the time of making TDK?

I just think she's an irritating character. Practicality issues don't bother me too much, considering the story is about a dude dressed as a bat who fights crime.

Looks like a mashup of Knightfall, No Man's Land, and The Dark Knight Returns to me. Which could be awesome, if done properly.

Didn't need to know that, Flagg.

I thought the chanting towards the end was really annoying. It looks like they're continuing the theme of Batman's actions escalating the violence, a bridge blown (with that guy from Inception on it) a football stadium destroyed and a commercial airliner ripped in two.

Bane is impressing me more. Not sure about Catwoman, but she's a character who will probably work better in Nolan's films than a lot of Batman characters, so I'm still hopeful.

And the best part is, you have no idea what order any of that stuff will happen in.

It was too small to be an airliner. Looked more like a bizjet to me - which means they were probably going after a particular target, not just sowing terror for terror's sake.

Well there was cargo plane and it looked like the smaller plane was being hauled in. Maybe Bane was in the small plane and his crew was trying to get him free?

It's from the opening five minutes that were leaked a while ago.

Likewise; I'm feeling more confident about Hardy's Bane after seeing this.
