Very much so. The writers of Girl Genius love triangles.

It's too early in the plot.

I can only hope that the authors intend to wrap the plot of Girl Genius up shortly after Agatha secures herself in Mechanicsburg, N years down the road. But resolution of the love triangle... I don't feel like this is the right time to kill off one of the sides just to simplify the picture. Especially since this is Tarvek's best chance to win out, with Gil out of the picture and him doing all these things for Agatha.

Klaus obviously sent his most intelligent minions...

This is a sign that Klaus is the true mastermind we all knew he was, eliminating two birds with one stone.
1) He is delaying the Other by obediently attacking, even if those attacks are ineffective.
2) Spring cleaning. All these mostly useless sparks were just cluttering up the fleet anyway.

Um....no...just something 'Big' pounding on the gates of Mechansberg.

This is Girl Genius, it would never be 'just a big ram'...;)

Much cheers to all.

Well it might be a 'ram' (sheep) but if so it would be a giant mutant ram, or a robot or cyborg ram.

It's amazing how the Sparks attacking didn't immediately jump to the "Wall in the way? Use a bigger death ray!" line of thinking. Instead, it seems they got together and had a round-table "Hey, wouldn't it be cool if..." conference. The end result is giant cyborg sheep sent in when a gate is in the way.

Then again, they're Sparks, so common sense is often overridden by Rule of Cool.

It's almost like the Sparks are in fact their universe's version of Sidereals. Their plans do seem to get worse the more of them get together...

*FACEPALM*

Yes. It is a RAM. A Giant Mutant (non-firebreathing) RAM. With the Wulfenbach Symbol on his forehead.

Since you said "Kangaroo Jumpers," and we've got a giant Ram: Click go the shears, boys! Although trying to wrestle it down to shear it might be a mite difficult... Ah well, that's the sort of things the Jaegers'll enjoy.

Also, despite the massive armouring of that Ram's skull, look: It's still got a headache from Mechanicsburg's gate! I'll bet that most cities - hell, most fortresses - go down to one, maybe two charges of a ram like that, but Mechanicsburg is going to take more than that! (Although notice, the gate's bar is already showing the strain)

From the Jaeger General's comments, this may not be the first Ramming Ram the gates have faced.

While I do want to say that the thing they're talking to is a Giant parrot, I don't think so. I'm thinking this is going to be something mechanical.
