They've hinted that they would run it a few times on Adult Swim over the past couple weeks, so I was expecting it. Still, glad to see they decided to do it.

It will be shown twice consecutively, then pulled. Inu Yasha will not be shown on the FLCL weeks.

They'll probably show it in a dub, which means some of the japanese-only puns will most likely be lost, and the voice quality won't be as good as it is in the subbed original, but this is good news nonetheless.

My Love Hina fansubs often had quick subtitles explaining the less obvious puns.

And then there are always translator's notes, which sadly aren't very common.

I don't know who Frank Zappa is, but from passing glances at a few Google searches, I'm guessing he makes weird music and does weird things.

FLCL, actually, is a lot deeper than just an anime filled with randomness. The whole pace is a cover and a message in itself.
