Goku and Gohan die very painful deaths. Palpy and Vader have precog and could easily force choke, rip all the blood from G&G's bodies, crush their brains, etc. Very messy.

Nah, I think it'd be a good fight. From all the massive beatings Goku has taken and survived, I'm not quite sure Vader or Palp would have the power to outright kill them

We've seen Goku thrown through mountains, take ki blasts full on, the some of which miss and look like multi-megaton explosions...he's a tough little bugger. Prove to me that Vader or the Emperor would have the Force might it takes to do something that a trip through soild rock can't

We've seen a force storm from Palpatine utterly destroy a 17-kilometer long capital warship that masses billions tons along with its 2.2-kilometer escorts. That requires a fucking lot more then megatons of energy, as in several orders of magnitude higher.

And I ask you calmly, unlike you, how can they have time to do their little force tricks when Goku and Gohan apparantly vanish, reapear behind them, and clobber them, or worse yet, do a full power kamahamaha wave attack. An attack that when Goku is at full power, has been shown to pierce a planet

Yes, I know what precognition is. And no, the force has never demonstrated the capability to give near this level of speed. Not only the sheer speed of Goku, but there is his ability Instant Transmission. It does what it sounds like, he thinks about being somewhere, and he is there instantly.

I do like DBZ yes, but that doesn't make me the wanker you guys want to brand me as without reason. I do believe I said it would be an interesting fight, you guys are the ones that instantly jumped to it being all one sided.

You don't get it. Jedi can percieve any action instants before it transpires.

Thus, Goku prepares his "Instant Transmission" - but of course the Jedi already knows this before Goku has even begun. Goku appears where he wants to, and is promptly choked to death, or has his brain vessels squished or any other number of mean, mean things.

Quite frankly, Palpatine is the only one *might* be in the appropriate power range to tackle these two. If we were talking Exar Kun, or whoever the dark jedi was that could destroy planets (or am I recalling totally incorrectly?), it would be more even. Maybe. The problem is raw speed.

Jedi have fast reflexes. Certainly around peak human, if not a good bit higher. They have precog., and a mind well adapted to analyzing the best actions to take in regards to those future threats. BUT, while we have seen that this does make them very evasive targets, it does NOT make them invincible. It has been shown that an overwhelming number of attacks will inevitably overcome a jedi's defences. Quite frankly, Goku has had the combat speed advantage since at least the first tournament in the original Dragonball.

Can Palpy do it? It's possible, if he's quick enough to pull out all the stops right from the get-go. Vader just doesn't have the moxy for this fight. He's never demonstrated any abilities that could even remotely match what Goku and son are capable of, much less able to withstand.

The question of Force choking depends on how much effort it requires. Goku's had MOUNTAINS dropped on his head and walked away. These are people who can move, jump, and act like normal in 500x gravity without being crushed! My guess is that Goku and Gohan will certainly be feeling invisible fingers on their throats, but they won't be able to squeeze hard enough to kill them.

Goku screams and starts powering up, trying to go Super Saiya-jin 356 million. Palpy just stands there, watching and after about 5 minutes, yawns and rips Goku's heart from his chest via the force.

Meanwhile, Gohan bitches about how he doesn't like killing and Vader lops his head off with his saber.
