BTW I voted Rowling. I know Tolkien better. If it was true that the most well-known writer is winning as most overrated, I would have voted Tolkien and so would the majority in this thread.

The rule applies to a population not an individual. And do you mean to say that SD.net knows Tolkien better than Rowling? Oh well I dunno, that may well be, but I won't just take our resident White Wizard's word for it ;)

And Tolkien is running second, so that doesn't exactly invalidate my theory ;)
