Well, yes, but that isn't as much fun. Unless robots are involved.

I'm personally glad about the new ark with Maxim. A refreshing change of state after the hamfisted bit in the castle's dungeon.

I rather suspect that was the intent of the writer :D

I see that some princesses have a strong taste for raiders.
I also wonder whether we're walking into Batman-category with this guy.

Well we have previously seen that Jagers arn't the very top of the totem pole when it comes to fighting, Gil seems to be able to deal with them (although he is a very powerful spark and may have several layers of physical enhancements) and I'd think both Higgs and Zeetha could probably take most Jaggers. This guy does seem to be a bit above them as he doesn't seem to have gotten any training hes just 'good at fighting', it might depend on how human he actually is, it seems at least some constructs can breed with humans so he might be a mix of various creatures further down the gene pool. Maybe Higgs is related to him?

I wonder how Cannon this story is?

He may have been trained and given various enchantment, but merely not mention it because everyone else got those. There are people that are just more talented at combat than others because of their previous lifestlye, heritage, early-training, etc and he was smart enough to make all of it work for him to an old age.

We'll know if its canon if Maxim gets the hat. You did notice that The Hat is in Maxim's colors -- purple & red.

Finish your sentences, YB, and try to get punctuation right.

Were you attempting to say General Khrizhan does not have a hat, when Generals Zog and Goomblast do? I'm unsure if Goomblast's metal plate counts as a Hat, but it does show that he is not to be messed with. Perhaps that is why General Khrizhan doesn't have one -- he's so badass he doesn't NEED a hat!!

If you meant Jenka -- she has a hat, a proper witchy hat.

Mama Gkika has her hair.

Just because we do not see them wearing their hats, that doesn't mean they do not have them.
There might be social reasons not to wear them, and they sure seem smart enough to recognize that.

actually I was going to state that the Female Jaegars seem to be a bit more dangerous then their male counterparts, since Madam G. is also a Jaegar General, It also looks like Von Pinn may also be a Jaegar with the mind/soul of the muse of protection....

So would this just be as Kipling wrote that the females of the species being more deadly then the males?

Probably. She's outraged at the whole thing and doesn't want to take part in it, unaware that the old man allowed himself to be fair game and that he'll be fine (or at least, knew the risks of what he was doing).

Odds that Maxim is going to have to fight her next (which would be uncomfortable)?

What do you base this idea on?
I just reread the entire Mechanisburg saga over the weekend. I saw nothing that suggested *Mama* Gkika was a General. She *is* a doctor of sorts, who fixes up wounded Jaegers to the best she can without a Heterodyne Master. I took that to mean many of the 'resident' Jaegers there are beyond her skills and just waiting for a Heterodyne to return and repair them.
It also looks like Von Pinn may also be a Jaegar with the mind/soul of the muse of protection....

So would this just be as Kipling wrote that the females of the species being more deadly then the males?
Yes, von Pinn is the Muse of Protection, mind-transfered into a biological contruct. That was most likely one of the many experiments Lucretia did before creating her Mind-Transfer device as well as her Clank-head twin.
However, I do not think von Pinn is a Jaeger, anymore than Punch and Judy are Jaegers. She is simply a well-built construct. Remember, Punch and Judy were The Heterodyne Boys' "First Constructs".

As, well.. I stand corrected.
But is it "Madam" or "Mamma" Gkika?

And for today's comic, I don't know what's funnier -- the Book of "Let's Fight" rules, or "Pinata Jousting Polo".
