Batman must visit Arkham Asylum to question Lecter about a former patient of his, Sszazss. Lecter has key insight and must divulge the info to prevent mass murder in Gotham City.

Batman and Lecter do the Quid Pro Quo routine.

I would have to say that Lecter gets the better end of it. This is
because he has info that Batman needs, and there is only one way to
get it. Refuse Lecter what he wants, and you know what the result will
be.....therefore, I see Lecter getting the best of this.
