The opening two minutes alone are a pretty scathing indictment of "but the shield generators don't have enough anti-matter quintessence to repel firepower of that magnitude in the hyperspace funnel" school of ... 'film criticism'.

It's nice seeing the late Irvin Kershner and recently late Gary Kurtz getting a lot of screen time in it too.
