I've not seen the movie yet but on the matter of Krennic, people who are overly cunning and manipulative have risk of starting to belive that they have absolute control over the flow of events, this cause Palpatine's fall in canon and Thrawn's fall in the legends. Krennic does seem like a man who could loose his composure if things didn't go the way he had planned, so I plan belive he would try to kill the rebels to cover up his own failure (or at least try to do so).
I may be an idiot, but I'm a tolerated idiot

It has my money either way.
It's up to 84% now. I wonder if pretty much all the critics have seen it by now.

Why would I care about critics? Critics routinely like movies I hate.
They say, "the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants and patriots." I suppose it never occurred to them that they are the tyrants, not the patriots. Those weapons are not being used to fight some kind of tyranny; they are bringing them to an event where people are getting together to talk. -Mike Wong

But as far as board culture in general, I do think that young male overaggression is a contributing factor to the general atmosphere of hostility. It's not SOS and the Mess throwing hand grenades all over the forum- Red

It's your moral imperative to care what the critics think.

While individual critics can be pretentious snobs or those with standards or views we may not necessarily agree with - and hence the importance of larger sampler sizes from differing perspective-leanings - it's like any other product so people's reviews should be factored in. I don't care about critics but if a bunch of them says this restaurant or hotel sucks ass then...
