Darth Who Vote

Well, it looks like they've narrowed down the choices for Jacen's Sith name. Not as bad as I feared. Anyway, those who have an account at the official site can vote.

In all frankness, why should the prospect of contributing to a book written by Karen Traviss somehow be an incentive?

All names are bad. Oh well.
Lì ci sono chiese, macerie, moschee e questure, lì frontiere, prezzi inaccessibile e freddure
Lì paludi, minacce, cecchini coi fucili, documenti, file notturne e clandestini
Qui incontri, lotte, passi sincronizzati, colori, capannelli non autorizzati,
Uccelli migratori, reti, informazioni, piazze di Tutti i like pazze di passioni...

Those names don't really inspire me, to be frank.

Plus, I don't care about the Legacy novel series.

Can someone post the options just so the rest of us can see?

EDIT: never mind, they're already there.
"They're not triangular, but they are more or less blade-shaped"- Thrawn McEwok on the shape of Bakura destroyers

"Lovely. It's known as impugning character regarding statement of professional qualifications' in the legal world"- Karen Traviss, crying libel because I said that no soldier she interviewed would claim that he can take on billion-to-one odds

"I've already laid out rules for this thread that we're not going to make these evidential demands"- Dark Moose on supporting your claims

Remember that Jacen is a Sith Lord who chooses his own name, like Darth Bane did (as opposed to Darth Vader, for example, who was named by his Sith Master). So when voting, you might want to keep in mind Jacen's personality/thoughts/motivations and how those might affect his choice of Sith names.
I think it would be more appropriate and good to also keep the author's personality, thoughts and motivations in mind when naming him, which is why I propose the name "Darth el Wat'efahko Loco". That is Mando'a for "great smart person plus justice-something".

Where's the Mando'a' for "He who rips out tracheas"?

We've been covering this in the post-NJO thread too and nobody's happy with the choices either. Personally, I'm like Darth Paxis, but everything else is crap...

I've always preferred the Sith names that are a word starting with "in" with the in taken out. Like Vader, Sidious, Ert, Ept, Cest, Defatiguable. :D

That second one should be Traviss' sith name.

Most of the ones listed sound like they'd be better suited for starship titles than Darth names.

Not sure how you would draw that last once and keep it as pg as the rest of them.

Wait, they're deciding this by fan vote? Is this for real?

Shouldn't it be, like, chosen by a writer to fit a dramatic vision? I'm confused.

The options are either (a) EU author choose the name, or (b) EU fans choose the name. Either way, you lose, right?

EDIT: Darth Acheron would be funny. He could be hunted down and taken by Surprise!
A Government founded upon justice, and recognizing the equal rights of all men; claiming higher authority for existence, or sanction for its laws, that nature, reason, and the regularly ascertained will of the people; steadily refusing to put its sword and purse in the service of any religious creed or family is a standing offense to most of the Governments of the world, and to some narrow and bigoted people among ourselves.

Do you know how many of those there are? I also didn't mention Darths Conceivable, Ternal Combustion Engine, Ternational Politics, Communicado, Fant, Admissible Evidence-the list goes on and on. :D
