So I bought a Sandtrooper Corporal (Sideshow collectible)

Simply because it looked awesome. First of these 12-inch figures I've ever gotten.

Pros:-

Wow, these things are detailed. This is not just Stormtrooper armor repainted to look dirty - its the actual Sandtrooper armor variant, with a different abdomen and shin guard pieces.

The DLT-19 blaster rifle is magnificent.

Also comes with an E-11 rifle, which is also fucking awesome.

How awesome? The DLT-19 bipod works.

The E-11 folding stock works.

So yeah, that awesome.

Cons:-

Where the fuck is the instruction manual? I'm just supposed to guess how to put the backpack together? Fuck you! Spring for a little pictorial instruction manual, I just paid a premium price for this thing!

If I hadn't looked around on the net, I would've never known that to put the shoulder pauldron on, the head pops off. How is anyone supposed to know that?

If I hadn't looked on the website, I wouldn't have seen the picture of the backpack so I could figure out just which snap on piece goes where.

Same with this thing:-

See that little black pouch on the armor diaper? It doesn't have a hoop to go onto the armor piece, it just has like a little tab that is kept in place by the armor piece pressing against the body glove. You can't see the damn piece on the box anywhere, so if it wasn't for that screenshot, I'd have no idea where it goes.

But the biggest con just has to be the damn backpack straps. They're actual straps, which you have to thread through. They don't keep the backpack snug on the back, and to my horror, trying to get the damn backpack back on him whilst fitting him to the display stand, one of the fucking straps broke. The plastic threading pieces (like on any backpack) are kept attached to the bottom two straps by way of the strap being hooped - but not threaded - its glue. And the glue fucking came unstuck.

So now I need to buy some superglue to glue the strap together. Its an easy, no fuss fix, but its annoying, and it shouldn't have happened.

Anyway, I've ordered a 501st Clonetrooper (RotS) and Captain Rex (Clone Wars, but as if he was photo realistic, not cartoony), they'll come out later this year, so they should be pretty cool.
