Mazapan borders the Silesian Confederacy, opposite the Andermani Empire. Mazapan is an industrialised power with two major inhabited planets and countless space habitations and colonies. Mazapan is on one leg of the Manticore wormhole, and does a great deal of trade through said wormhole.

Mazapan has had a long history of warfare with the Silesian Confederacy, and her navy, while fairly small, is well equipped and trained.
thirdfain, Mazapan is on the otherside of the galaxy from Silesia. There's no way they could be involved in a war.

They'd more likely be in conflict with the Sollies, Asgard, or Midgard. Perhaps the Andie. But not Silesia, it's too far and Silesia is too much a shambles anyway.

Check out either On Basalisk Station or War of Honor, both have it. I would post it except I don't have a website to host one.

Hmmm, maybe Dalton would host it.,

Don't know about the previews, but Ashes of Victory has one of the better Haven maps, as well as some ship designs and an overall comparison of ship size (I never realized an SD was twice the size of an Imperial Star Destroyer).

I live!

I'm going to have to throw together a OOB-does the SL have any modern designs (SDPs, CLACs, etc?)

Also, I have every single book up to WoH, plus all of the illustrations.

I think by now, even the SL should have gotten at least an idea of the SD(P)s. CLAC# I'm not really sure...
They are a monolithic buerocracy after all...

Gotten the idea, sure, bothered to implement it fully, maybe. That sort of ship-building effort takes a crap-load of money, and the people in charge of budgets may not grasp htat no refit of existing designs is going to work in this case. Staff studies, focus groups, competing bids, its probably one hell of a mess.
Likely to have Multi Drive missiles and Ghost Rider equivalent tech, probably not, though they will be working on it.

I do believe that the newer battle cruiser was the Nike-class. my guess is they carried the redesign of the orginal Reliant-class so far with Nike and her subsequent sister that they just called them a new class.

The Andies refer to a Nike-class Battlecruiser in WoH.
AFAIK, the only reference to the Nike in WoH is this
. Royalist was a Reliant-class ship, like Honor's own one and only battlecruiser command, HMS Nike.

The Sollies no doubt know of them. The thing is they've done pretty much nothing. Their navy's got good equipment but they aren't much in the business of building new, major ships.

I believe Dave's been rather mysterious on it but the general impression is that no, the sollies don't have SD (P)s or CLACs.
