Could someone tell me how to get the shockwave flash player working on Mozilla?

IIRC when you try to view a website with Flash it will prompt you to get the latest version of the Flash player... you go to their site and download it, it should have an option for what browser you wish to install it for.

Oh, I'll check. It gave the version for win 3.1 and wouldn't give me any other one. I have XP.

Yeah, I did this on XP as well, but I don't remember a 3.1 option... hmm... its been awhile, sorry.

Ummm...
Internet Explorer 4.0 or later, Netscape Navigator 4 or later, Netscape 6.2 or later, with standard install defaults, AOL 7, Mozilla 1.0 or later, and Opera 6
You might try both the IE/AOL and Netscape installers from this page; one of them will install to Mozilla. I have it working, myself, but forget which of these I used. Mozdev.org links to another version, at this address.

Macromedia's autodetect script is somewhat screwed up at the moment, but you found the right one anyways.
