40gig hard drive on ATA100 much faster than 13GB on ATA33. Phoenix (I mean Firebird) doesn't take 20 seconds to load, for example. Need to download the W2k service packs and the Nvidia drivers, as well as IE6 for web development.

Did you buy a Promise Techonology card? I have on that is gatherin dusk , I should really get around to installing it.
