did this happen only to me?
between 23:00 and 0:00 more or less today I was totally unable to connect to any website in North America, Youtube worked and finnish sites worked but nothing in USA or Canada.

Hm... I did suffer from intermittent issues now that you mention it. eBay wouldn't load for me because of a DNS error at around that time. Some seafloor telecoms cable must've sprung a leak I suppose; we'll probably hear about it on the news tomorrow.

If a seafloor cable goes out of commission, the problems will last for weeks.
