Shouldn't this forum be under Fiction?


While computers and electronics are decidingly nonfictional, the bulk of this forum is used towards gaming. So it would make sense to either split the forum and move gaming threads to a Gaming forum under fiction, or move this entire forum to fiction.

Discussions about game universes are in fiction, because they aren't real.

Games are quite real, as is the play of them and critique of their design elements. So, this is in non-fiction.

If you want to talk about, say, Halo from a story perspective or to calculate its JJJJIGAWATZZ, go ahead and waltz on thataway to the Sci-Fi forum. Want to talk about WoW as a work of Fantasy? Go to Fantasy. People have done this, and the discussions look remarkably like any other kind of discussion of fiction. You can also extend this towards other games like D&D that get discussed here and in fiction, because its a Fantasy game.

Want to talk about, say, StarCraft II as a software program that is actually on your computer, and how well it functions? You talk about it here. Other programs that get talked about on this forum include Windows 8, because holy shit, this forum isn't just for discussions of computer games. In fact, you can also talk about the hardware on this forum, or so I've heard. How does one talk about the X-Box 360 or the Nintendo DSi as a work of fiction, again?

Aaaaand that would be the distinction between this forum and a Fiction forum. Want any more explanations of the obvious?
