Anyone ever heard of Text-Enhance?

Post by Lord Relvenous »

I've had words in my browser get randomly turned into hyperlinks that are "powered by Text-Enhance". I thought at first that it was an ad system implemented by the site I was on, but it started happening on here too.

Seems to me to be a piece of adware, but AVG didn't find it.

Check your browser's extensions/toolbars for anything you didn't put there yourself. AVG is also pretty hit-or-miss at finding non-virus malware, in my experience. Use Malwarebytes for that.
