CoD multiplayer is free, the single player still costs, but it is on sale for 40$ or the same price most brick and mortar stores around here have it marked down to (Same price as MW2, MW1 is 9.99)

And on a similar note, a slightly watered-down version of [url=http://www.arma2.com/free\Arma 2 is now free, too.[/url] It's only missing the campaign, hi-res textures, and ability for mods, but it still allows multiplayer and using the editor.

For anyone living under a rock, Steam's doing a massive summer special on like, everything. I just picked up a bunch of 2K games (including Borderlands, DNF, the BioShocks, Civ V, etc) for 80 USD. Some pretty decent deals going on.

Kohan + expansions + sequel have just been released on steam with a discount. Seeing as Stark mentions this as unsurpassed for the last decade every time a discussion about RTS comes up, it may be worth getting...

Steam sale: Borderlands GotY (base game plus all four DLC) is $7.50. The base game and all the DLC individually are also 75% off - $5 for the base game and $2.50 for each DLC.

Edit: for the weekend. Price goes back up next week.

Apparently it's Sega weekend on Steam, which includes Alpha Protocol for $2 at least today.

Given the mostly positive reviews on this site, I'm getting it.

Not just AP... absolutely pants-on-head-retarded deals all around this weekend. $17 for everything Total War ever from Rome to Napoleon. $10 for the entirety of Company of Heroes ($2-4 per game). 74 cents for classic Sega games.

Steam Halloween sale!

Link

Any suggestions?
Penumbra Collector Pack is tempting me, has anybody played it?

My recommendations are:
Terraria 50% off.
Amnesia: The Dark Descent for 3€.
Borderlands in case you never played it, it has co-op.
and Bioshock 1 & 2.

Just a quick update on the Halloween steam sale.
If you are interested in Boderlands, go for the Game of the year edition.
They are even more games now, although many aren't availabe in Germany :-(.
Dead Space 1 & 2.
Left 4 Dead 1 & 2 (if you don't have either of them, just get L4D2 and forget about L4D1).
