I am. And Mesa is under pressure but the Sollies aren't about to sell it out anytime soon. They're unpopular but they've got too many erstwhile allies in the government, at least right now.

And since we don't have the Sollies around here, what would they say about attacking Mesa, or stopping them, in exchange for Manticoran technology?
Infringe on Solarian territory and die...the Periphery is still here, just somewhat...inactive (trying to figure out what I should do...).

You're the whole of the Solarian League now.

And posting an Order of Battle would be a really, really good start.

I'll get to work on it ASAP. It may be a couple days, though, because freshmen start moving in today, and I'm wearing about four different hats right now, between Orientation, Student Government, Phi Sigma Tau, and Campus Entertainment. I promise it will be up by the end of Sunday.

For starters, you can look through some of the diplomatic traffic directed at the Sollies.
Haven for one is quite interested :D

Ooh, Ooh, a hopeless fight against impossible odds? Me Please.

*ceases being serious now* The first step of their strategy will be to have all of their ships defect to Manticore, carrying their entire treasury. The second step will be to destroy their own planetary populations in such a way to frame Haven. Step three will be to rot freely on planets no longer oppressed. :D

And days later, a fleet of 200 SD(P)s orbits MAnticore, happy with its new conquest

I'm going to need an update on exactly how much was lost in the attack on Asgard, and how many systems other than my home one I have to provide coverage to.

Losses were all sixteen DNs (two were captured), 23 of 30 battlecruisers, and 11 of 30 escorts.

And Mazapan has three systems/planets.

So me=screwed, allrighty then. :)

Are the other two systems important enough to warrant a garrison of ships of the wall?

Hmmm, given the callous nature of the attacks so far, the leadership would probably say f*@$ the colonies, we have to protect the shipyards.

Hm, about the battle?
Are Matapani SDs more conventional in their weapons mix?
If so, the Asgardian ships will be at a bit of disadvantage in energy armamant, at least the Seydlitz-SDs...

The Asgard ships are the Odin-class. Essentially the IAN's Derflinger-class. They're four deckers (as opposed to the traditional three) so they're heavy with point defense and energy mounts while still retaining a conventional sized missle load.

Which is why I'm concentrating on the SD contingent, if I take out enough of them, the Battleships are rabbits shoved into the blender.

Hm, but the IAS Derfflinger was a Seydlitz-class SD. And Seydlitzes are weak on energy mounts, and very light for SDs...
That's why I was confused.

True enough. But that pre-supposes you'll be able to survive it.

Yeah, I only caught that after I posted my order of battle. Player's mistake.

True enough, but its the only real shot the Mazapani had. I also should have specified the timing of pod launch better, but that actually somewhat fits, as the Mazapani don't have the body of experience that the major powers do.

What types of ships, and how many, would Phoenix likely have, Stomrbringer?
