We just got our USB LAN Adapter from Nintendo yesterday, so:
Note that we don't have it connected all the time.

I've just got a router that actually plays nicely with my Wii, so I can finally start adding some friends to it. PM me if you add me.

When you turn on your Wii, there's a small Letter icon to the right of Today's Date that says "Wii Message Board". Click it.Chardok wrote:Maybe I'm a moron and I should RTFM...but where do I find my friend code and where the hell do I add your guys codes? Keep in mind I've been able to dork around with my Wii for maybe a total of an hour since I got it....
Be gentle...
The second icon from the left is a little pen and pad, and says "Create Message". Click it.
The far right icon is clearly marked "Address Book". Click it.
The first page states clearly "This console's Wii Number is: ???? ???? ???? ????"
And that's where you not only find your Wii Friend Code, but where you also Register New Wii Friends.

Me: Nope, that's why I have you around to tell me.
Nitram: You -are- beautiful. Anyone tries to tell you otherwise kill them.

Sweet! Thanks much Talashia deux! If I ever make it home from work tonight, I'll add you all and find my number and postify it.LadyTevar wrote:When you turn on your Wii, there's a small Letter icon to the right of Today's Date that says "Wii Message Board". As an aside, if anyone could spare some Metroid friend tokens (among the stupidest ideas ever), that would be much appreciated.

Can do. How many do you need? I'm pretty sure I've got enough, anyway.

Re: SDN Wii friend code swap
PAL or NTSC? Supposedly, Metroid tokens can only be sent to like versions.

Uhh, North America (USA). After some googling, it looks like NTSC. Do I have to add you to get some, or can you just send them and I can send them back?Darth Yoshi wrote:PAL or NTSC? Supposedly, Metroid tokens can only be sent to like versions.
