More on topic, I think it would be fair to say that siccing a CPS investigation on these staff members would be more using concern as a pretext to harass them than any serious belief that there's a problem, since if saying they'd be okay letting their kids be around Rape Judge is proof of probable negligence then a whole bunch of other Republicans (read most) should lose their kids too.
On the other hand, it's a really good pretext and I can't say I'm against people being encouraged to be afraid of personal consequences if they publicly defend someone like Kavanaugh.
