Peter Sallis dies at 96

Post by Eternal_Freedom »

Sad News.

Best known, to me at least, for being the voice of Wallace in Wallace and Gromit.

Stick the kettle on lad :(
Baltar: "I don't want to miss a moment of the last Battlestar's destruction!"
Centurion: "Sir, I really think you should look at the other Battlestar."
Baltar: "What are you babbling about other...it's impossible!"
Centurion: "No. It is a Battlestar."

Corrax Entry 7:17: So you walk eternally through the shadow realms, standing against evil where all others falter. May your thirst for retribution never quench, may the blood on your sword never dry, and may we never need you again.

Well, all bad things come in threes. Between the attack, the election and his passing, that's our lot. Assuming Trump doesn't wing his way here on Friday.

Poor Gromit.

I just heard this on the news- I used to watch Last of the Summer Wine many, many years ago and I never made the connection with W&G. Much like with Christopher Lee in Golden Gun. I never did find out how Gromit could eat without a mouth!

I always wondered how Gromit had pockets. Or how he could be so damn expressive with just ears and an eyebrow.

Oh no. :(

On the other hand I had no idea he's reached 96.

Yes. At least he didn't die young.

Rest in Peace.
"I know its easy to be defeatist here because nothing has seemingly reigned Trump in so far. But I will say this: every asshole succeeds until finally, they don't. Again, 18 months before he resigned, Nixon had a sky-high approval rating of 67%. Harvey Weinstein was winning Oscars until one day, he definitely wasn't."-John Oliver

Well, rest in piece.

Hope the Moon up there is really made out of green cheese.
Turns out that a five way cross over between It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the Ali G Show, Fargo, Idiocracy and Veep is a lot less funny when you're actually living in it.
