The thing is. . .the only reason right-winger cartoons stand out so much is because they depend on massive, absurd strawmen to make their point. Republitards are already walking caricatures a good deal of the time so no such distortions are generally required on the left. Good luck finding anyone noteworthy on the left doing the same thing though.

Ted Rall. He just manages to be offensively stupid. DC Simpson managed to be over the line a few times, but she quit when Obama won. Forest Kelly makes mind numbingly stupid right wing cartoons to mock them and successfully fools people often so he meets the challenge in the letter of the law but not the spirit. Tim Krieder will invoke them, but does so in ways so funny I label him as one of the best political cartoonists out there (if he even qualifies as political since he does a lot of other stuff)

But yeah, Ted Rall generally manages to make all but McCoy and Asay look reasonable. And at least those two fucks keep it professional, Rall is apparently a shitheel to people on a personal level as well.

A lot of left wing cartoons aren't wrong or distortions, they're just WORDS WORDS WORDS and can't be read without a microscope like those 19th century political cartoons where the speech bubble was still in the process of being invented and comic sans was but a gleam in some douche's eye.
