However, you are right in that I originally wrote that I thought she said 'jews running the war' and in that I was incorrect and conceed that point. She lashed out at Isreal as a benificiary of the war, not those running it nor by extensions Jews themselves running it.

I admit I don't recall if you're among them who said it, so if you didn't, I apologize and mea culpa ahead of time, but quite a few have said this is the inevitable result of Desert Storm. Probably was. Do we perhaps remember who got fired at alot and defended by the States then? Hence the connection without the OMFG JEWZ!!!!. The mere fact that it's hard to see any real benefit for the US makes one look for who is profiting. The removal of a power who fired on the Israeli populace is fairly easily seen as a benefit.

The email she sent to Nightline, though to be fair, she say's it was 'altered'. Supposedly;

So she admits atleast writting an email and giving it to James Morris after some bit with Nightline, who then gave it to Executive Producer Tom Bettag of Nightline.

I haven't seen anything at all that really discredits this, except for Cindy Sheehan herself saying it was changed.

"Methinks Hitch has been punk'd. Sheehan's "letter" has been seeded all over right-wing message boards, and nowhere else that I could find. Most of the links seem to point to this Google BBS post, in which the full text of the letter appears. But there's something strange about it. The prose is stilted, and there's something about how the author uses acronyms, place names and dates that makes me think it was writted by ex-military. Look at this paragraph:

The very worst thing of all, is that my son was sent to rescue some fellow soldiers trapped in an ambush in the back of a LMTV..which is basically an open air trailer. Even if she did write the whole thing (unlikely for the reasons shown above), it's not at all an attack on Jews, since PNAC doesn't represent Jews. By that logic, anyone who says anything against Hug Chavez hates hispanics.

Hmm, it's possible that Sheehan picked up either lingo or just transposed labels from her son's letters or emails or correspondance, but yeah, that doesn't sound right.

Very well, I retract the argument until a good source produces the email. I'm surprised Nightline hasn't got it up on their site, talk about a good story.

Well, most of the major anti-war organizations have incorporated the pro-Palestine/anti-Israel movement into their own for precisely that reason, so it wouldn't surprise me at all if she did the same.
