Yeah, like assassinating Obama would actually hurt the Democratic cause, rather than giving them sympathy points and painting a gigantic bullseye on the right...seriously, the "second amendment solution" and its consequences that are usually presented by right-wing nutters seem like something out of a bad political novel. Not that I'm surprised, really.

Wait wait wait, did the author really think that last cartoon made the dems look bad? I'd much rather a party that prefers using smear tactics (I guess that's what the paint brushes represent) than one that would advocate armed rebellion if democracy didn't work out for them

If the teabaggers decide to try a putsch after this November, can Mr. Asay be sued for damages resulting from incitement and such?

Though like those terrorist spokespersons, I don't think he has very much money either.
Turns out that a five way cross over between It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the Ali G Show, Fargo, Idiocracy and Veep is a lot less funny when you're actually living in it.

Certainly not enough to cover the expenses incurred due to civil war.

Seriously: anybody who thinks a mass uprising won't result in a prolonged and destructive conflict is a complete moron. Of course, your guys still might get a wave of domestic terrorism at some point in the future, but then the talking heads can just hew and hem and say they weren't actually advocating any of this stuff! (Like with that abortion doctor and the countless anti-state cop-killing psychos out there)

For those that don't know, last Week Obama gave a speech about operations ending in Iraq and bringing the Troops home. The Republican responses has been amazing... Unable to admit Bush screwed up, they have asked Obama to "Thank Bush" for "Winning" the war in Iraq.
yes, Apparently not only did we "Win" in Iraq, and totally not screw up, but it is all because of Bush that we "won" in Iraq.

It really is the ultimate sign of the Far Rights going off the deep end about Obama. A while back I posted an article about a list of "bad" presidents as complied by a right wing blogger. Many of what we may think of as bad presidents got high marks for being "War Presidents" Even FDR, who is considered a Dictatorial Tyrant by the right, he got 'high marks' for being a war president. The same with Woodrow Wilson, a truly bad president, but got us into WWI, and is thus considered a "War President" and a hero.

Obama? Well, while he is yelled at for blaming any mistakes on Bush.. Apparently it is IMPOSSIBLE for him to get 'credit' for the war in Iraq.

WTF? What happened to my picture from ImagShack?!

Anyway, the artist for that deleted image is DT Devareux and his paranoiac political artwork (including the suicidal Uncle Sam) can be found here.

Had to post this from Rameriz just because it is such a great example of the right being absoultly correct while getting everything wrong.

Lets be hounest:
Those against Obama ARE Racist
Those against the Stimulus largely because of misinformation
Those against Socialism have a :I've got mine Fck you" mentality
Those against Health Reform, again because of misinformation.
Those against the Community Center are Bigots.

This "Cartoon" done I am sure as what he thought was bitting sarcasim is factually true. The fact that the right consider such a thing a damning indictment against the progressives continue to show just how utterly out of touch they are with the 'real' America.

Iraq..... Victory...? When was that, exactly? When Dubya said "mission accomplished"?

That's just.... they.... how... but....

I'm just speechless. What point in the war against Iraq was Victory?

The conservatives refuse to admit Iraq was a mistake.
If Obama is leaving Iraq, then Ergo, we must have won in Iraq.
HOWEVER
If we DID win in Iraq, it has nothing to do with Obama, and is thanks to Dubya.

Behold far right logic!

To be fair, if we did win in Iraq, it wouldn't have been due to Obama. There was no significant events in his administration that could be point to the cause of a victory in Iraq.

Iraq was Bush's war, it's successes and failures are his and no one elses.

How is that fair?
By your logic, any changes there that occured AFTER Bushs term should be accredited to him. Why should you accredit something to someone who did not play and implement it?
I can get how one could say that it's all due to Bush in the current situation (and i might be wrong, because i did not care much about Iraq), but if Obama had done more significant chances, there is no reasonable way to accredit them to Bush.

The entire excercise in imposing democracy in Iraq was a pointless mess with no clear goal that cost America trillions of dollars: arguing who "won" it is like trying to get credit as the guy who finished filling in the hole his prececessor dug for no reason.

Because apparently building a Community Center near ground zero is the same as burning the holy books of a Religion.
You have to admire how in the warped views of the Far Right they somehow think this makes them look "good"

Image
Eric Allie once more continues the tradition of portraying Obama as a Messiah figure. Something only the far right has ever done purely so they can say the left did it.

Image
Here we have yet another Foden cartoon which, depending on how you view it... Is absolutely TRUE.
If there was a "GOP" sticker on that guy, why it would be a perfectly apt cartoon! the fact that Foden is trying to pass this off as something to apply to Progressives, well...

Image
And finally one from Catal, whose art "style" looks like something penned by a right handed 5yo drawing with their left hand.

The last two catoons are pretty spot on, though. I fail to see what makes them terrible.

What ARE they looking at?
Could it be the "CONSTITUTION" which Ramirez apparently thinks is an immense thick book instead of one page?
Could it be the note on Obama's picture that is hopelessly too small to read legibly?
Or could it be that the newspaper headline ""O'Donnel Dabbles in Witchcraft"" and then the broom in the corner might be suggest, Pelosi is a witch?
The Mystery remains.

Image
Aside from the fact that Catal is once more using blatant copy and paste in one if his cartoons, his "Message" here is boarding on grade school style 'insults' of going "dur dur dur!"

And then we have this...

A Jimmy Carter cartoon, or, I ASSUME that is supposed to be Jimmy Carter, with Catal its hard to tell.

And finally a round up of Chuck Asay

Chuck once more crosses the border in terms of not just making outright lies (as many do) but doing it in an almost Jack Chick style.
