They automatically dismiss any arguement or picture on the grounds that its from here, and that since the pictures originated from here, that automatically meant to them that they were doctored. And they out-right refused to post any objective data on what Bane could or could not do. Just endlessly repeated things like "Bane is really tough to he could resist any of Vader's force telekinesis" They actually tried to say it was EASIER to levitate a multi-ton piece of machinery than a human being.
Yeah i tried to have a debate, well i jumped into one anyway, about Palpatine vs Kerragan from StarCraft once cause they were harping how she would pwn all.

But it was claimed that my evidence was first, i think first, they said non-canon THEN they said that cause it comes from HERE its biased. Because, get this, "When a site is called StarDestroyer.net you know they're biased towards Star Wars!"

ZOMG!!1! It makes so much sense! Its all so clear now!

Speaking as someone who has considerable experience debating creationists and other religious fools (who use the exact same methodology of "take it literally when convenient, or non-literally when inconvenient"), believe me when I say that you can't make a fanatic see anything. Once they decide that they do not need to stake themselves to a particular methodology and live by its outcomes, whether they like them or not, they are basically saying that they're going to make up the rules of this particular game as they go along. You might as well play cards with a two year old.

And so I found, but hey at least it was fun for the first few minutes.

Yup, and it let me practice some debating skills against idiots (It's a bit too hard to do it here, you need to show documented, hard copy proof for everything rather than using other canon sources)

Wow…Supersaiyanman12…I think I hate him. Well, not hate, but perhaps extreme dislike.
If you’re not sure if something is true or false, go with the opposite of what he’s saying.
If he told me the world was round, I’d get a second opinion.

I'm currently in the Borg vs Trade Fed thread. Most of them fall back on the "borg can adapt to anything" bullshit.

Bah, and now you know why I got sick and tired of those morons. I don't care if they think they won, my sanity is better off without them.

See, that's the bizarre parallel world of scientifically ignorant people. They sincerely don't realize that "creationist" is an insult.

Two points, because like Sriad said.. there WERE sane people, but they have left because even for bullshit opinion based debates that place is full of shit eating fanboys.

1. What the hell is a Wongilations? I mean has Mike truly infected the whole sub culture of SW vs that they make up shit just around his last name?

2. Creationist. It's good that they aren't just fanwhores over there, but truly numbskulls. Ah, the hope I have that they remain virgins forever.

I doubt theres any risk of a board invasion, but better safe than sorry.
According to a half dozen idiots over there 15 Borg Cubes would destroy the Death star.
Sorry, some of my brain cells just died, after seeing that and there claims that Plasma wouldn't affect Borg Cubes because it has no frequency.
I jsut posted on the debate there, but I hope I don't get banned by some idiot pro ST mod as happened recently when I argued agaisnt a curbstomp thread. (The CAPS in my post is a keyboard error).

Now to see if they accept the ICT, if not I have a lot of work to do over there, any help would be welcome

Congragulations on the +1 post (Although I'm not one to talk;)).
Frankly I've given up on debting them, they refuse to understand a no-limits fallacy (As I watched in the Trade federation vs Borg thread), fan wank immensely, are very subjective and refuse to debate on a personal level that includes any personal comments or backing up their ideas.

I used to think that this board was far too strict, I still think that but only that it could lighten up on the direct quotes rule :P, and just a smidgeon less insulting unless a fault is proven in a debate (Not on personal philosophy/news debates unless a hard matter is being debated).
Ah well, better too strict than the alternative as those nut bats have shown.

I also invited Omega man/[Darth wang at Spacebattles] [Green avatar] (Not OE) over here, since he showed better prowess than I at debating the Trekkies in the original SWvsST thread over there, I hope that's not a breach of any policies? :?

You mean OmegaGuy? I saw his debates, he's good and rational. He'd fit in over here.

He's also Darth Wang over at Space battles.
He said he's a lurker over here, I'll try to make him focus on our glorious empire

"Prodigal Son"'s trolling split. It's interesting how he thinks that "people think anyone in SW can beat Superman" is just as bad as being a creationist, but that seems to be the way certain parts of the world are.
For a time, I considered sparing your wretched little planet Cybertron.
