Why can't i use my name?

As the title says, I can't use the name i have registered in. It says my username has already been taken but i was registered with it without any problems or warnings. So how come am mentioned only as 'guest' instead of my name?

If you've already registered the name, then click on "Login/Logout" to - obviously - login or logout. From what you've described, it sounds like you're just clicking on "Register" instead.

I had that same problem the test section.

BTW how do I get a avatar pic added to my handle?

Up at the top of the screen, click on "Profile", and then scroll down to the bottom of the ensuing page to find the Avatar Control Panel. Then, after making an avatar on your computer (remember, keep it at 80x80 pixels and under 6 kb), upload it, and it'll be included in all your posts.
