Father and clone err...son contest, SW vs. ST style

Post by paladin »

Yes sir folks. it's Jango Fett and his son Boba vs. Jean Luc Picard and his son Skippy.

So, the two pairs are competeing several father/son type events. Who would win? Like I need to ask that one.

Picard and Skippy hate each other, which is a small problem. But somehow, they miraculously begin to bond, perhaps because the scenario has been set up in such a manner that they must work together.

The two of them, working together, become very competitive. Given the fact that they are both adults of similar proportions, events like the three-legged father-son race are a cakewalk. Jango and Boba just can't keep up.

With Picard and Skippy nursing a healthy lead, they both suddenly drop dead. Kamino poison dart.

Jango and Boba win by default.

Let's use Mandorian (sp?) events! You know, the "It's so brutal the kids only survive because they've been so well trained" events.

Works for me. I didn't specific exactly what kind of father/son events. So, I would imagine that Mandorian father/son events would involve lots of explosions. In that case, Picard and Skippy are fucked!

Jango's not that strong. Maybe if he used his jetpack, but I believe that's illegal.

What I meant is that Jango won't be able to overtake Picard and Skippy, since he has to carry himself and Boba, while Picard and Skippy only have to deal with themselves.

Jango would be able to overtake them quite easily after firing a couple of poison darts

Heh, I remember some of this stuff from Dad Lad from scouts. Picard and Skippy might win the chicken fights, 3 legged race, and canoeing, and the obstcal course is a toss up, but BBguns, Archery, and the fishing contest on the last day go to the fetts.

Why fishing? simple. Picard and Skippy go out with the latest in rod & reel technobabble garunteed to snag the big ones. J&B go fishing redneck style, substituting a siesmic charge for dynamite.

it's a pretty pointless thread. You ar epitting to generations of sci-fi's finnest bounty hunter against a balding diplomat and his teenage angst ridden "son" skippy, who might i add doesn't like Picard much in the 1st place.

on the lastday of the competitions its a big race! Boba and Jango in Slave I versus Picard/Skippy in the Captains Yacht. From Earth to Vulcan and back.

By the time Picard is finished putting on his homosexual captains outfit in the holodeck, Jango and Boba have already taken off, orbited vulcan twice, returned to earth and acquired a target lock.

Skippy, the adept military commander that he is, tries to stab Picard while the Slave I begins firing and ignores the fact that if he would only carry some sort of sidearm he could just shoot Cap'n Skindome and get back to what he was doing.

Jango celebrates using zam Wessel' shapeshifting ability for his own purposes while oba sits in the back with snack crackers watching the Ewos cartoon on full holo.

Use of poison darts...I'll allow it! If that's part of their culture, then we have to be sensitive to that.

I love when I can turn PC crap to a good use!

Picard's clone..err son..was called skippy in the Nemesis BB that is now the ST BB. It's just more fun then calling him Shinzon or Shithead or Shin-guard or what ever his name is.
